Statement Of Faith

  • We believe in one God, eternally existing as the Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit, who has revealed Himself through scripture and through Jesus.
  • We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, inspired by Him, and serves as the final authority for faith, truth, and Christian living.
  • We believe Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day. He is the only way to salvation, reconciling us to God through His sacrifice, for all who believe in Him.
  • We believe salvation is a free gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and not by human works, transforming us to live for Him.
  • We believe the Holy Spirit indwells believers, guiding, empowering, and equipping them to live a life of faith, love, and holiness.
  • We believe in the beginning God created all things. He made humanity in His image, calling us to a relationship with Him and to value all human life, from conception to natural death.
  • We believe that marriage, as intended by God, is the lifelong union of one man and one woman, reflecting God’s creation of each person as distinctly male or female, these two complementary genders together reflecting His image and nature.
  • We believe the Church is the body of Christ, a community of believers called to worship, serve, and share the message of God’s love with the world.
  • We believe in baptism with water as a symbol of spiritual baptism, cleansing from sin, and commitment to Christ. The Lord’s Supper (communion) is to be observed as a symbol of Christ’s sacrifice and the fellowship of His Church until His return.
  • We believe in living with integrity, humility, and compassion, reflecting Christ’s love in our relationships, actions, and service to others.
  • We believe the state is ordained by God to maintain order, and Christians should pray for, honor and be subject to authorities.
  • We believe Jesus will return one day to bring eternal life to those who trust in Him, while those who reject Him will face separation from God.

This statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The board of directors is the final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application for Pioneer Christian Academy’s faith, doctrine, policy, and discipline.
