In August 2019, Pioneer Christian Academy opened its doors for the first time. Four and a half years ago we had 47 students and 7 full time staff. Today we are almost halfway through our 5th year. We currently have 93 students, 11 full time staff, as well as several volunteers and part time staff. We have graduated ten seniors and have a solid start to rebuilding our high school after Covid shut that down.
Through the years, we have seen God’s faithfulness through an unprecedented virus, financial need, and all the aches and pains of starting a new school. Even in the times when things have seemed out of control, God’s plan was infinitely better than ours. Our local churches, the city of Brownsville, and the greater PCA community have rallied around us in ways that have been unbelievable!
